Viewings and Feedback

Our staff are available longer hours than other local estate agents, which means that we will be promoting your home when the competition is closed.

We subscribe to a call management service who engage estate agency trained personnel to answer calls in the event that we are unavailable or closed.

We will immediately be emailed or contacted by text so that we can make contact with the client as soon as we are able; therefore no opportunity is lost.

As soon as you instruct us to market your home, our negotiators will immediately contact all current and new applicants in order to arrange viewings.

On first contact with MAJOR MOVE we will identify the applicant’s exact purchase requirements and request that they speak to, or arrange an appointment with one of our mortgage experts, which enables us to assess their ability to gain a mortgage and to confirm their borrowing capacity.

Their details will be registered on our data base using our state of the art estate agency software system, ensuring that all sales opportunities are maximised.

All viewings are accompanied, even outside of regular business hours. this can be essential in both building a trusting relationship with the prospective buyer, and to ascertain their individual requirements.

Subsequently, once a decision is made to buy, they are much less likely to change their minds.

After each viewing, our negotiators will  consult with the potential buyers in order to gain feedback and report their comments to you as soon as possible. we will also endeavour to maintain regular contact to discuss with you any concerns that you have regarding marketing and progress.

We don’t just sell to the first person who wishes to purchase but to the person who is in a position to do so…..

There is often a significant difference between the two.                                     The wrong decision could seriously affect your future plans.

Monitoring Progress
Completion

The prospective buyer will be contacted by one of our Mortgage Experts in order to reconfirm their financial ability to proceed.

If applicable, we will review the situation with all other estate agents and solicitors involved in the chain to ensure that there are no weak links.

Only when we believe we are in full receipt of the facts, will we contact you to discuss their offer.

Whenever possible, your purchaser’s conveyance and mortgage will be arranged ‘in-house’ which will enable us to keep a closer eye on the progress.

Progress will be handled by an experienced sales controller who will be based at your local branch for more convenient communication.

Although your solicitor generally takes control at this stage, we will monitor the sale and keep in regular contact with all relevant parties throughout the transaction.

Should any difficulties arise, we will act in your best interest in order to achieve a satisfactory solution.

In the unfortunate event of a sale falling through we will immediately become aware and will be in a position to re-sell your home without delay.

On completion we will not allow your purchaser(s) to take possession of the keys until your solicitor instructs us to do so.
